Filters allow the view of election results to be limited to a specific party, contest or precinct, or any combination of these three election elements.
What to Remember About Filters
Filters are not permanent. When you
select a different election from the Home page or leave the Election
Reporting Console (i.e., close your Internet browser or go to another
website), any filters you've selected are removed.
All three filters (party, contest,
and precinct) can be active simultaneously, if desired.
Once you've selected a filter , it will continues to function when you navigate to different console locations and between different view. It can only be removed by deselecting the current view or by starting a new session by clicking the Election Name in the Statistics Display section.
There are three filter types: Party Filter , Contest Filter , and Precinct Filter .
You can use the Party
Filter to limit the display of to show only election results
for a specific political part or group of parties.
The Contest
Filter is used to filter the display so that only a specific
contest or group of contests are shown. This filter can be used
simultaneously with the Party and Precinct filters.
Precinct filters are used to select results from an individual precinct or group of precincts. This filter can be used simultaneously with the Party and Contest filters.
